"It is great to have Creative Concern as part of our marketing arsenal; as a small organisation having their full-service agency expertise on-hand has been invaluable in delivering our Lakes Culture and Lakes Ignite message through various channels effectively."
Lakes Culture was set-up in 2014 to unite the area’s tourism and culture sectors and better promote the wealth and quality of activities and events on offer.
Creative Concern worked with Lakes Culture to develop a new website and social media campaign to help establish the Lake District as the UK’s leading rural cultural destination.
This kicked off in creative style with the design and development of a new blog-style website to promote the distinctive Lakes Culture brand.
The website initially provided a digital platform to publicise Lakes Ignite 2015, an inspiring programme of cultural events during April and May, in conjunction with the Lakes Culture Twitter feed.
In the first eight months the website gained over 30,000 page views and the Twitter following increased by more than 1,000% in the first nine months.
Going forward, we will be supporting Lakes Culture during Lakes Ignite 2016, which promises to deliver another spectacular array of cultural events in the Lake District next May.
We will also be promoting the Lake District's cultural calendar and its wide variety of dynamic venues by uploading new features to the Lakes Culture website and building on our social media success for the brand with fresh content, in order to encourage a strong following for all things cultural in the Lakes.
