Getting the electric vehicle message out to over 9,000 people at a public launch at the Intu Trafford Centre.
Greater Manchester Electric Vehicle scheme
Greater Manchester Electric Vehicle [GMEV] scheme is a new electric vehicle charging point network and pay as you go programme, led by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM).
Creative Concern developed the brand identity for the scheme and worked in partnership with TfGM to raise awareness of the scheme with businesses and key stakeholders as well as the general public. Alongside the brand and toolkit, we created a film showing a day in the life of an EV in Manchester, a microsite, a publication and a PR toolkit for partners.
The public launch was held at The Trafford Centre. We secured the Model S Telsa (only its second appearance in the UK) and worked with Renault to provide test drives of the Renault Zoe.
Over two days the tream spoke personally to over 9,000 people and we secureed a range of specialist and non-specialist media coverage including MEN, North West Tonight and Next Green Car.
