Cumbria Museum Consortium
Creative Concern worked with Cumbria Museum Consortium (CMC) to undertake a digital audit and then to develop a digital strategy for the consortium. The digital audit looked at the activity of the members – Lakeland Arts, the Wordsworth Trust and Tullie House.
The first stage involved interviews and workshops with Directors and Senior Managers, followed by an analysis of the information provided. We carried out desk research, online research, social media analysis and used a variety of tools to assess and measure their digital performance.
Following this, the audit looked specifically at skills. Some of this information was gained during stage one, but an online questionnaire was developed to specifically consider digital skills. We then moved on the creation of an observations and recommendations report, providing an overview of findings and strategic recommendations.
The final CMC Digital Strategy aimed to be both strategic and practical, identifying the direction of travel and the key objectives for improving public digital activity in the future.
